Eric Nielsen has resigned his positions as social studies teacher and head baseball coach at Concord High School, effective July 20, 2017 in order to take a job outside the field of education.  Nielsen served as head baseball coach for two seasons after serving one season as an assistant.

“We hate to lose Eric as he is a person of high integrity and character,” said Dave Preheim, CHS Athletic Director.  “While Eric was a great teacher of the x’s and o’s of baseball, he was keenly aware that much bigger life lessons are taught through education based athletics than just hitting, pitching, and fielding. We’ll miss him on staff but wish him and his family the best in the future.”

Preheim said a search for a replacement will begin immediately.  Interested individuals should forward a letter of interest and resume to the CHS Athletic Office.
