Boys Junior Varsity Golf, Boys Varsity Golf · Tim Koontz Named Head Boys Boys Golf Coach

Concord High School is pleased to name Tim Koontz to the position of head boys’ golf coach.  He will be assisted by Mike Auger.

Koontz is a 2002 graduate of Concord High School, where he played golf and football.  He graduated from Bluffton University in 2006 with a major in Health and PE and a minor in coaching.   He also holds a Masters’ Degree in Education from Ball State University.  After graduating from Bluffton, Koontz taught and coached football for a combined seven years at both Wawasee and Goshen High School.  He is currently a full time business teacher at Concord High School and is also head coach of the CHS freshmen football team.

Koontz and Auger take over for Larry Bilger and Greg Martin who retired following the 2014 season.
