News · 2019 Concord Athletic Hall of Fame Induction to be held on April 26


The 2019 Class of the Concord Athletic Hall of Fame will be inducted in a ceremony on Friday, April 26.  The induction will take place at the Matterhorn Restaurant, 2041 Cassopolis St, Elkhart.  A social time with cash bar will begin at 6:30 PM.  The ceremony, which includes dinner, will begin at 7:00 PM.  Tickets are $25 and available in the Concord High School Athletic Office.

2019 Inductees are as follows:

Crystal Brim Cleveland (Volleyball, Basketball, Track – Class of 1999)

Nine total varsity letters

Volleyball – 4 years, 2 letters

Honorary Captain as a senior

All Conference as a senior

Basketball – 4 years, 3 letters

Honorary Captain as junior; Best Defensive Player Award as a Senior

Track – 4 years, 4 letters

Honorary Captain as a junior and senior

Currently lives in Rome, GA

 

Brant Fowler (Football, Basketball, and Golf – Class of 2000)

10 total varsity letters

Football – 4 years, 3 letters

Helped Concord to 1998 Class 4A state championship game and number one state ranking

All Conference as a senior

Academic All-State as a senior.

Team MVP Special Teams – 3 years

Team Captain as a senior

Mental Attitude Award as a senior

Media Awards from WFRN Radio (mental attitude) & SB Tribune (Class 4A kicker)
