Boys Varsity Golf · Jeff Petty Named Boys Golf Head Coach


Concord High School is pleased to name Jeff Petty to the position of head boys’ golf coach. His hiring was approved by the school board on September 21, 2020.

Petty is a 2011 graduate of Lebanon High School, where he played football, basketball, and golf.  He graduated from Butler University in 2015 where he was a member of the cheerleading program and served as school mascot.   He is currently pursing a masters degree from Western Governors University

After graduating from Butler, Petty taught mathematics at Harshman Middle School in Indianapolis and then at Crawfordsville High School where he served as boys and girls golf head coach and freshmen boys basketball coach.  Petty came to Concord in 2018 and has served as boys and girls golf assistant coach and freshmen boys basketball coach.  He also teaches mathematics full time at CHS. His wife is a guidance counselor at Concord Ox Bow Elementary.

Petty takes over for Tim Koontz who resigned in the summer of 2020.
