Boys Swimming & Diving Sectional Information Host: Concord High School Schools: Angola, Concord, DeKalb, East Noble, Eastside, Elkhart, Goshen, Jimtown, Northridge, NorthWood, Wawasee. Schedule: Thursday, February 19, 6:00 PM: Swimming Prelims Saturday, February 21, 10:00 AM: Diving Prelims (Note time change from previous schedule) Saturday, February 21, 1:00 PM: Swimming & Diving Finals Admission: Cash at the door: $8 per day or $14 for a tournament pass Online in advance: $8.95 per day or $15.44 for a tournament pass https://ihsaa.eventlink.com/Tickets Preschool children are free Spectator Information: Enter the building via Door #21 (Fitness & Performance Center / Aquatic Center Entrance) Doors open 60 minutes before each session All spectators (and all items) will be cleared from the seating area following Diving Prelims before being readmitted for Swimming & Diving Finals. Heat sheets for Swimming Prelims are attached. Printed copies will be available at the door for $1. Concessions and food trucks will be available. Advancement Swimming 1. First place sectional winners in each event qualify for the state finals on February 27 & 28 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis plus 2. Any contestant who equals or betters the state time standard in their respective event in the consolation finals or championship finals of the sectional qualifies for the state finals. The state standard may not be achieved by a swimmer who is competing as the first leg of a relay. The next fastest number of contestants in the state that would bring the total number of state meet entrants to thirty-two (32) in each event. In the event that a tie exists for the 32nd position, the tie shall stand and both swimmers shall advance to the state championships. Diving 1. First through fourth place sectional winners will qualify for the diving regional on Tuesday, February 24 at Mishawaka High School. 2. First through eighth place regional winners will qualify for the state finals on Saturday, February 28 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
