Each season the Kiwanis Club of Elkhart recognizes a male and female athlete of the season from Concord, Jimtown, and Elkhart High Schools. These seasonal winners are selected by the coaching staff of each school. At the end of the year, each school is asked to name one each of their male and female seasonal winners as the Kiwanis Athlete of the Year for their school. This year’s winners, along with the winners from the other two schools, were recognized at a luncheon on June 6. The winners of this award can be the same individuals as the Concord Athlete of the Year or be different. Congratulations to this year’s Kiwanis Athletes of the Year from Concord High School: Allie Moss and Armen Koltookian! Additionally, Armen Koltookian was chosen by the Kiwanis Club as the overall winner from the three schools combined! The Concord Athletic Department is grateful to the Elkhart Kiwanis Club for the longtime tradition of honoring local athletes. We appreciate all they do for our school and for our community!
