Adam Kirkpatrick has announced his resignation as Head Girls Soccer Coach at Concord High School for personal reasons. He informed his team on Monday, March 13, 2023. Kirkpatrick served as head coach for five years with a record of 28-45-9. His final team finished 5-12-2 but reversed two of those losses in advancing to the sectional championship game. “I believe it is important to leave the program in a position of strength. The junior and senior class are prepared to lead and display the results of their commitment to improvement. The sophomore class is strong and will make waves this season and in the years ahead,” said Kirkpatrick in his resignation. “We appreciate Adam’s years of service and dedication to Concord,” said Concord Athletic Director Dave Preheim. “He navigated the program through a challenging time during COVID and recently started a futsal program for elementary students in our district as a way to grow the program. I know he will be cheering on the girls in the program as a continued member of our community and we certainly wish him the best.”
