Concord Boys Swimming – 2021-22 Northern Lakes Conference Champions

Congratulations to the Concord Boys Swimming Team who won the 2021-22 Northern Lakes Conference Championship Meet on January 29, 2022 in their home pool. Concord’s first place finish in the meet, along with their 7-0 record in regular season NLC meets made them outright conference champions! This is Concord’s fourth straight and seventh overall NLC title in boys swimming, with the others coming in 1990, 1991, 1994, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Concord placers in the top eight in each event were: 200 Medley Relay Team of Derek Angel, Brayden Sollars, Cole Stevenson, and Ethan Davies – NLC Champions! 200 Freestyle – Caleb McDonald (sixth) and Tommy Brunner – NLC Champion! 200 Individual Medley – Derek Angel (sixth) and Cole Stevenson – NLC Champion! 50 Freestyle – Brayden Sollars (third) One Meter Diving – Alan Arriaga (fifth) and Ethan Smith – NLC Champion! 100 Butterfly – Drew Krause (eighth) 100 Freestyle – Ethan Davies (second) 500 Freestyle – Ben Ramer (fifth), Will Delio (fourth), and Tommy Brunner – NLC Champion! Sam Carnall accepted Tommy’s award while Tommy was preparing for the next event. 200 Freestyle Relay Team of Brayden Sollars, Caleb McDonald, Ben Ramer, and Tommy Brunner placed third. 100 Backstroke- Derek Angel (fifth – accepted by Sam Carnall while Derek was preparing for another event), Ethan Davies (second) and Reid Sollars (seventh). 100 Breaststroke – Ben Ramer (sixth), Brayden Sollars (third) and Cole Stevenson – NLC Champion! 400 Freestyle Relay Team of Tommy Brunner, Ethan Davies, Derek Angel, and Cole Stevenson – NLC Champions!
