Jeff Petty has announced his resignation as Head Boys Golf Coach at Concord High School due to accepting a position as Assistant Principal at Concord High School. Petty served as head coach for one season with a record 13-4. He also served as assistant coach for the girls golf team in the fall and had been the boys freshmen basketball coach for three years. He will be leaving those positions as well. “We hate to lose Jeff from our coaching staff because he was excellent at building relationships with students in all three sports. However, we are excited to have him move into administration in our building where we know that his skills in working with students will carry over to a wider spectrum. It’s certainly good to know he will still be positively impacting Concord students on a daily basis,” said Dave Preheim, Concord High School Athletic Director.
