Congratulations to the Concord Boys Swimming Team for winning the 2020 Concord Sectional on Saturday, February 22. The following CHS athletes advanced to the IHSAA State Finals: 50 Freestyle: Will Harris (Sectional Champion) – placed 16th with a time of 21.15. Will set a school and pool record with a time of 21.10 in his race at sectional. 100 Freestyle: Will Harris – placed 21st with a time of 47.19. 500 Freestyle: Tommy Brunner (Sectional Champion) – placed 18th with a time of 4:44.01. 200 Freestyle Relay Team of Will Harris, Brayden Sollars, Tommy Brunner, Hayden Gill (Sectional Champions) – placed 23rd with a time of 1:28.70. 400 Freestyle Relay Team of Will Harris, Tommy Brunner, Derek Angel, Hayden Gill – placed 27th with a time of 3:18.75. Additionally, Ethan Smith advanced to the Diving Regional on Tuesday, February 25 at Mishawaka High School where he placed tenth.
