Congratulations to the following CHS Girls Swimmers who qualified for the IHSAA State Finals which were held on Friday and Saturday, February 9 and 10 at IUPUI in Indianapolis. Concord placed 24th overall as a team. 200 Medley Relay Team of Alex Beer, Gabby Sponseller, Jillian Dawson, and Maddisen Lantz placed 22nd with a time of 1:50.55. 50 Freestyle: MaKayla Miller placed 15th with a time of 24.24. Maddisen Lantz placed 26th with a time of 24.49. One Meter Diving: Jenna Lechlitner placed 15th with a score of 379.30. 100 Freestyle: MaKayla Miller placed 21st with a time of 52.59. 200 Free Relay Team of Elexis Ott, Brooklyn Messenger, Veronica Lidy, and MaKayla Miller placed 24th with a time of 1:41.34. 100 Backstroke: Maddisen Lantz placed 18th with a time of 57.58. 400 Free Relay Team of MaKayla Miller, Alex Beer, Gabby Sponseller, and Maddisen Lantz placed 13th with a time of 3:34.25. The Concord girls ended the season with a record of 7-2 (6-1 NLC) and placed second overall in the conference.
